What is Confirmation?
The sacrament of Confirmation celebrates the completion of Baptism and a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit, given through anointing with Sacred Chrism, accompanied by the laying on of hands and prayer, which strengthens the faithful as members of the Church to spread and defend the Catholic Faith by word and deed.
The Sacracement of Confirmation...- Brings an increase and deepening of baptismal grace
- Roots us more deeply as children of the Father
- Unites us more firmly to Christ
- Increases the gifts of the Holy Spirit within us
- Renders our bond with the Church more perfect

FormationWe invite all high school sophomores to receive the sacrament of Confirmation. Formation for the 2023 Confirmandi will begin in September and meet once a month on Sundays at 12 noon at St. James in Forest City. We invite all those to be confirmed to attend with their parents and sponsors. The Confirmation Formation schedule is as follows:
September 11th
October 2nd
November 6th
January 29th
February 26th
April 23rd
May - Retreat at St. Wenceslaus in Duncan
May or June - Confirmation Mass at St. Wenceslaus in Duncan
